Mr. Ed's Bakery
This quaint bakery in Honomu (on your way to Akaka Falls) is a great place to load up on cookies and cinnamon rolls, but his true "can't miss" items are his homemade jams. A whole wall of jams of every island combination you could ever imagine! They all sound amazing, and it is hard not to want to buy them all. They will gladly give you a sample if you ask. Mr. Ed is a retired school teacher, so we cheer him for that. Click below to learn more. FYI, jam is considered a liquid for travel and cannot be taken in your carry-on; it must be placed in checked luggage, or Mr. Ed's will ship it for you.
